We are now looking for a GPhC registered Pharmacist to join our team in Exeter, working on a full time, permanent basis and on an initially remote basis during the ongoing COVID situation. Those interested in part time hours are also encouraged to apply.

Your Role:

As a Pharmacist, you will carry out a range of content management work alongside a team of specialist Pharmacists and Researchers.

Joining the Clinical Content Team working on our Multilex solution, you will:

- Input and quality check both clinical and non-clinical data
- Update editorial policies and work instructions
- Participate in the production of data for release to customers

About You:

To be considered as a Pharmacist, you will need:

- A current GPhC Registration with some post-registration experience
- The ability to accurately work with complex (clinical) data

Due to the COVID-19 climate, this role will be based remotely initially, with a requirement to attend the Exeter office in the future, with a blend of home and office working.

The Role:

As a Clinical Researcher, you’ll support the day-to-day running of our OptimiseRx, International or Multilex Clinical Content team and assist with a range of projects.

In this key role, you will be responsible for entering clinical and non-clinical data into our clinical content management system with the highest levels of accuracy.

Other duties will include:

- Quality checking non-clinical data in our system
- Updating our editorial policies and work instructions
- Helping to resolve any issues or errors to continuously improve our quality standards
- Assisting the Customer Services Team with any queries
- Working on projects to support new and existing customer requirements

About You:

To join us as a Clinical Researcher, you’ll need:

- At minimum, a 2:2 degree (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline OR previous clinical experience, such as clinical content maintenance
- A high level of IT literacy, including MS Outlook, Word and Excel and great typing skills
- The ability to accurately enter complex clinical data
- Excellent logical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team

Previous experience in customer service, including answering written and verbal queries is desirable, as is experience within a healthcare or software development organisation or the NHS. Knowledge of medical terminology would also be an advantage, as would the ability to effectively explain complex medical issues or write and update work instructions and policies.

The interview process, induction and training can be conducted remotely if required. This role is available on both a permanent basis and as a 12-month fixed term contract.

About You:

To join us as a Clinical Account Manager, you will be a highly personable, motivated, organised individual who thrives on building and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships. You will need:

- To be a qualified pharmacist, with current GPhC registration
- Experience of selling and/or delivering services into the NHS
- Data analysis skills and/or experience
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Good time management, planning and organisation skills
- IT skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Previous experience working as, or with, a practice-based/PCN Pharmacist or with/within a Medicines Optimisation team would be highly advantageous, as would previous experience of delivering consultancy-style services at client sites.

Due to the requirements of this role, you will need a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle as well as the ability to undertake business travel across the geographical area as required.

Ideally, you will have account management/commercial experience and/or skills, but this is not essential. Experience of using Microsoft Power BI or a similar reporting solution would be beneficial, as would CRM skills and/or experience.
