We are now looking for a Project Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for successfully delivering a range of projects that are focused on enhancing clinical information systems.

Providing an environment of collaboration, you will oversee all aspects of the project, from planning and developing cost estimates, to setting objectives and expectations then delivering on project commitments.

You will work with agile software development teams, clinical content teams and product owners to manage a backlog of work, making full and effective use of the resources and budget available. You will build strong relationships with the project board members, other stakeholders, and other supporting teams. You will report on project activity and status at various levels and forums.

Additionally, you will organise project work to mitigate risk and uncertainty and maximise return on investment, whilst ensuring the identification, logging, and active management and governance of issues, risks and changes.

About You

To join us as a Project Manager, you will need:

- PRINCE2 Practitioner, PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner, (PMI) PMP, or equivalent certification
- A higher qualification in Project or Business Management
- Experience managing projects adhering to standards ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO25000, ISO20000, ITIL
- Good financial planning and management experience
- The ability to use Microsoft 365®? tools to collect, analyse and present project statistics and status to all management levels
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- The ability to produce and control formal business documentation, such as business cases and other project management documentation
- Excellent planning and organisation skills – managing time and deadlines of a project team
- Experience of working in Primary or Secondary Care settings would be desirable, as would experience of developing cloud-based solutions

Due to the COVID-19 climate, this role can be based remotely initially, with a requirement to attend the Exeter office in the future, with a blend of home and office working.

The Role:

As a Clinical Researcher, you’ll support the day-to-day running of our OptimiseRx Clinical Content team and assist with a range of projects.

In this key role, you will be responsible for entering clinical and non-clinical data into our clinical content management system with the highest levels of accuracy.

Other duties will include:

- Quality checking non-clinical data in our system
- Updating our editorial policies and work instructions
- Helping to resolve any issues or errors to continuously improve our quality standards
- Assisting the Customer Services Team with any queries
- Working on projects to support new and existing customer requirements

About You:

To join us as a Clinical Researcher, you’ll need:

- At minimum, a 2:2 degree (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline OR previous clinical experience, such as clinical content maintenance
- A high level of IT literacy, including MS Outlook, Word and Excel and great typing skills
- The ability to accurately enter complex clinical data
- Excellent logical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team

Previous experience in customer service, including answering written and verbal queries is desirable, as is experience within a healthcare or software development organisation or the NHS. Knowledge of medical terminology would also be an advantage, as would the ability to effectively explain complex medical issues or write and update work instructions and policies.

The interview process, induction and training can be conducted remotely if required. This role is available on a 12-month fixed term contract.

The Role
As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Multilex Software solution for both internal and external deployments.

Reporting to the Technical Lead, you will design, develop and test database applications for our range of business systems. You will perform structured testing which will include design reviews, code walkthroughs and inspections.

You will liaise with both internal and external customers and make note of their requirements in the form of user stories and supporting analysis. You will also undertake maintenance and 'business as usual' activities including the electronic preparation and publication of content, database administration and the resolution of data errors.

Additionally, you will:

- Work closely and collaboratively with the Multilex team at all times
- Participate in agile development and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes
- Provide resource estimates and progress updates
- Improve the solution and proactively suggest innovative, effort-saving solutions to business problems

About You
To join us as a Database Developer, you will need:
- Evidence of high-level participation in database-oriented commercial projects
- Knowledge of relational database analysis and design
- Experience in performance tuning
- Proficiency in T-SQL development in Microsoft SQL Server from versions 2008R2+
- Proficiency in SSIS development

Ideally, you will be educated to at least degree level with an IT related qualification. Experience of any of the following would also be beneficial: SQL Test, PowerShell, Azure or AWS, C++, C#, Data Warehouse design and execution, SSRS and Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
