We are now looking for a GPhC registered Pharmacist to join our team in Exeter. We offer a fully hybrid way of working, with a mix of office and remote work available.

Your Role:

As a Pharmacist, you will carry out a range of digital content curation work alongside teams of specialist Pharmacists and Researchers, across UK, US and India.

You will be working on FDB’s MedKnowledge solution, which provides comprehensive, independent information to support safe and effective prescribing in healthcare settings all over the world.

Joining the International Team, you will:

- Undertake evaluation of medical literature
- Input and quality check both clinical and non-clinical data via our authoring systems
- Update editorial policies and work instructions
- Respond to queries from our global clients


About You:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

- A current GPhC Registration with some post-registration experience
- The ability to accurately work with complex (clinical) data
- Knowledge of a specialised clinical area, e.g. dosing, drug disease contra-indications, is preferred but not essential

The Role:

As a Clinical Researcher, you will actively promote the high quality and accurate maintenance of FDB’s Solutions and maintain standards within the team in order to improve the health of everybody impacted by our Solutions. You will be responsible for entering clinical and non-clinical data into our clinical content management system with the highest levels of accuracy.

Other duties will include:

- Input and quality checking of clinical and non-clinical data in the content management system with high accuracy levels and attention to detail in accordance with Editorial Policies and Work Instructions
- Review and updating of Editorial Policies and Work Instructions
- Own development and achievement of personal objectives by fully participating in appraisal processes and contributing in team meetings
- Work closely with Customer Services and other client facing teams in supporting customers/stakeholders and resolving queries
- Responsibility for completing workload within the agreed targets. Training and continuous professional development of self/colleagues to achieve highest standards of accuracy
- Working collaboratively with other FDB teams and stakeholders to maximise the effective use of our Solutions, across different location and time zones.
- Ensure professional communication both orally and in writing and that any communication follows business protocols
- To improve the promotion and maintenance of quality standards and support prompt error resolution
- Provide support for specific project work to meet new and existing customer requirements

About You:

To join us as a Clinical Researcher, you’ll need:

- a 2:2 degree (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline OR Previous clinical experience, such as clinical content maintenance, at a minimum
- A high level of IT literacy, including MS Outlook, Word and Excel and great typing skills
- The ability to accurately enter complex clinical data
- Excellent logical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work well individually and as part of a team

Experience within a healthcare or software development organisation would be beneficial, as would any experience gained in the NHS. Knowledge of medical terminology would also be an advantage, as would the ability to effectively explain complex medical issues or write and update work instructions and policies.

The Role

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for successfully improving a range of methodologies that are focused on the design, development and acceptance of software solutions. About You

Our ideal candidate will be:

- Highly skilled in the theory and application of TDD, BDD, SOLID Principles, Domain Driven Design and Refactoring
- Familiar with a range of software, including C#, MVC, .NET framework, TSQL, Unit Testing frameworks, Infrastructure as Code, mocking libraries, JavaScript frameworks such as React and experience using ORMs
- Capable within Agile & Scrum development methodologies
- Adept at analysis and design
- Working at an interpersonal level and seeking to build and maintain relationships through open communication and self-development
- A customer-facing, problem solver, seeking to instigate and embrace change, both personally and at a business level. Coaching and mentoring of others
